Alan Justin, Lancaster business leader from Colonial Voluntary Benefits, an upstate New York territory office of Paul Revere, was named first runner-up for the District General Agent Medium Office of the Year award.
The Niagara Lutheran Health Foundation, an affiliate of the Niagara Lutheran Health System, elected Michael C. Straeck a trustee. Straeck is president/CEO of Buffalo Ultrasound in Williamsville.
Phillips Lytle associates Christina M. Cotter, Gabrielle S. Foley, James D. Marky and Katherine A. Murak have been admitted to the New York State Bar. Cotter received her JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from University of Connecticut. Foley received a JD from the UB School of Law School, a MPH from San Diego State University School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from UB. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in epidemiology and community health from UB School of Public Health. Markey holds a JD from William and Mary School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Murak received her JD and certification in tax law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College.

ElderWood Health Care at Riverwood celebrated the facility’s 20th anniversary recently. The facility currently employs more than 137 staff members and cares for 90 residents every day. More than 70 percent of the staff has worked at Riverwood for five years or more. The skilled nursing facility also provides sub-acute care and rehabilitation.
